2022-2023 ACADEMIC YEAR ANNOUNCEMENT OF ACCEPTANCE OF STUDENTS FROM ABROAD
Foreign students will be admitted from abroad in accordance with the Registration Admission Directive for the Admission of Students from Abroad of Toros University to the Associate and Undergraduate Programs of Toros University.

Candidates who have graduated from a school equivalent to Turkish high schools and who will apply from abroad who meet the following application requirements can apply to our university to study for associate degree and undergraduate programs within the scope of the student quota to be taken from abroad.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
Candidates who want to study in the associate and undergraduate programs of our university, provided that they are in the last year of high school or graduated:
1) Those who are foreign nationals,
2) Those who are Turkish citizens by birth and who have received permission from the Ministry of Interior to withdraw from Turkish citizenship and who document that their minor children registered in the certificate of withdrawal from Turkish citizenship have a Certificate for the Exercise of Recognized Rights obtained in accordance with the Turkish Citizenship Law, (Article 7 of the Turkish Citizenship Law No. 5901) In its article, there is a provision that "(1) A child born in a marriage union from a Turkish citizen mother or father inside or outside Turkey is a Turkish citizen." and it is useful for candidates who will apply for admission quotas from abroad to examine the Turkish Citizenship Law.)
3) Provided that those who become Turkish citizens with the citizenship acquired later while being a foreign national / dual nationals in this situation document it,
4) a) Of the Turkish students who continued their secondary education abroad before 01/02/2013, those who completed the last three years of their secondary education (high school) in a foreign country other than the TRNC (including those who completed their entire secondary education (high school) in Turkish schools opened by the Ministry of National Education in a foreign country other than the TRNC) can apply for student admission quotas from abroad."
- b) Candidates who started secondary education abroad after 01/02/2013 can apply for the admission quotas from abroad to those who have completed their entire secondary education (high school) in a foreign country other than the TRNC (including those who have completed their entire secondary education (high school) in Turkish schools opened by the Ministry of National Education in a foreign country other than the TRNC),
5) Those who are TRNC nationals and reside in the TRNC and have completed their secondary education (high school) in the TRNC and who have GCEAL exam results and who have or will have GCE AL exam results by enrolling and studying in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010
ARE ALLOWED TO APPLY.
In addition, considering that dual nationals with T.C for candidates applying under Article 4 and those who are T.C nationals can apply for student admission quotas from abroad if they have completed their high school education in high schools abroad (except TRNC high schools),
- a) Candidates who have received a diploma from a high school abroad through distance education without being abroad should not be processed with these diplomas for the transition to higher education within the framework of the student admission quotas from abroad, but these candidates can apply for transfer to higher education with YKS (Higher Education Institutions Examinations),
- b) In the context of diplomas obtained from a high school abroad through formal education, checking the entry and exit of the country where the diploma is obtained from passport or security records, and if the period of stay in the relevant country does not support the formal receipt of high school education, these diplomas and applications within the framework of student admission quotas from abroad are not processed,
- c) In the event that they have started their university education abroad by studying in a high school abroad with the distance education system without being in the relevant country; Seeking the conditions for the Transfer from Higher Education Institutions Abroad to the Higher Education Institutions in the Domestic Higher Education Institutions published in the Student Selection and Placement System Guides of the relevant year in order to benefit from the provisions of the Regulation on the Principles of Transferring Between Associate and Undergraduate Programs in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer,
Candidates who do not provide this status will be canceled if they are determined to be placed in any program or even if the registration process has been done.
EXAM RESULTS TO BE USED IN THE EVALUATION OF THE CANDIDATES WHO WILL APPLY
The application must be made with only one of the exam results specified in the Annex-1 list.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES
Applications can be made online at https://obsogrenci.toros.edu.tr/GenelAdayLogin or in person or by mail from the Registrar's Office of our University within the application period.
Candidates who will apply for Toros University Overseas Student Quotas; The following application documents must be submitted to the Toros University Student Affairs Department in person or by mail.
APPLICATION DOCUMENTS
- a) Online Başvuru yapacak adaylar https://obsogrenci.toros.edu.tr/GenelAdayLogin adresinden kayıt yaptırarak başvuru yapabilirler.
Candidates who will apply by hand must apply to the Registrar's Office with the following documents after downloading and filling out the Student Admission Application Form from Abroad.doc (You must print out the Application Form at http://www.toros.edu.tr/ fill it out, sign it, and then send it with your application documents.)
- b) A certified copy of the high school diploma or an official document issued by the secondary education institution where the candidates who have not received the high school diploma will graduate,
- c) The original of the document showing the graduation grade point average and the certified copy translated into Turkish or English,
ç) Copy of Passport
- d) 2 passport size photos,
- e) Annex-1 Original or certified copy of the exam result document specified in the list (If any)
- f) Preference notification form completed by the candidate. When filling out the aforementioned form, candidates can make a maximum of three choices from the departments or programs that receive students with numerical or equal weight score type according to the score type applied in the university entrance exam held by OSYM.
The documents submitted to the Registrar's Office of the University are taken for the application file and are never returned.

After the application period, applications that reach Toros University Rectorate Student Affairs Department by mail or are requested to be given by hand will not be accepted.
PREFERENCE PROCESS
Candidates will make three choices in the form. Preferences should be made by taking into account the program quotas and program conditions in the quota table.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULTS
Candidates who are entitled to enroll in our university will be announced at www.toros.edu.tr address. In addition, the e-mail address of the candidates accepted by Toros University will be notified that they have been accepted.
Since the language of instruction in the programs teaching in a foreign language at our university is at least 30% English, the level of English language knowledge of the students who are admitted to the University in accordance with the provisions of this directive and who cannot present their English language knowledge sufficient with any language exam document (TOEFL, IELTS, CPE, CAE, FCE etc.) is determined by the English Proficiency Exam to be held by the School of Foreign Languages of Toros University.
Students who submit any language exam document accepted by the Senate at the time of registration are exempted from the English Preparatory Class and can directly start the undergraduate program they are accepted to.
The level of Turkish grammar of the candidates who will apply to the departments where the language of instruction is Turkish; It is determined according to the results of the Turkish exam to be held by TÖMER (Turkish and Foreign Languages Research and Application Center) or our University.
Those who are not successful in this exam can be considered as a leave of absence to improve their Turkish language knowledge and can start their education with the Turkish proficiency exam to be held at the beginning of the next academic year or with the language certificate showing that they have been successful by TÖMER.
DOCUMENTS REQUESTED FOR REGISTRATION
- a) The original of the high school diploma,
- b) "Equivalency Certificate" to be obtained from the Embassies or Consulates of the Republic of Turkey or from the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey, showing that the high school diploma is equivalent to the diplomas obtained from Turkish high schools,
- c) The original of the document showing the graduation grade point average and a certified copy from the Embassies or Consulates of the Republic of Turkey translated into Turkish or English,
ç) The original of the exam result document to be used in the application and the certified copy from the Embassies or Consulates of the Republic of Turkey translated into Turkish or English,
- d) Certified copy of the page showing the identity information of the official ID or passport,
- e) Bank receipt showing that the tuition fee has been paid,
- f) "Student Visa" to be obtained from the Embassies or Consulates of the Republic of Turkey,
- g) 6 passport size photographs,
ğ) Foreign Language and Turkish proficiency certificate which is internationally valid (If any),
- h) Foreign national’s identification number,
ı) A document showing a valid health insurance policy during their studies (Optional)
- i) Proof that he has an income in excess of the amount that will enable them to continue their education.
(3) Those who have a "Turkish Ancestry Certificate" must submit it during registration.
The documents that the students will bring later cannot change their status during admission.
(4) Candidates who have won the right to register and who do not register within the registration period to be announced are deemed to have lost the right to register.
The registration rights of the candidates who are found to be unable to submit the documents requested in the registration, to make a false statement or not to meet the criteria are canceled.Fo
