1. İThenticate
In order to detect plagiarism in academic studies, iThenticate -Plagiarism Prevention Program has been made available to our university by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM. The program is used by universities to automatically detect the copying (plagiarism) rate in articles to be produced at academic level; It should not be used for plagiarism detection of student assignments and theses. The program has extensive academic content directly related to the evaluation of academic publications (excluding student assignments). It is used with a web-based interface without any special training requirements. The document to be analyzed for plagiarism is uploaded to the iThenticate program as easily as attaching a document to an e-mail, and the plagiarism analysis can be completed in a few minutes. Every document uploaded to iThenticate is compared with documents in a large database.
2.Turnitin
Turnitin; It is one of the world's leading software that brings students and educators together on the same platform, ensures that documents (thesis, article, homework, project, etc.) are checked for originality and that educators grade these documents. Turnitin improves students' writing skills by providing rich feedback and preventing plagiarism. It encourages original writing within a certain time frame. Today's educators and administrators try to encourage students to use information correctly, thoughtfully and legally. With accessibility to billions of internet resources, students can copy and paste entire paragraphs of a resource in one second. This, combined with the emphasis on performance and assessment, has led to an increased use of non-original content in student research, dissertations and articles. Turnitin helps educators encourage original copywriting and deter plagiarism. Turnitin scans large databases for document analysis.

Academic personnel who want to use the Turnitin program should send the information including their name, surname and corporate e-mail address by e-mail to the address kutuphane@toros.edu.tr Access to the system will be defined by the person concerned. Password and user name will be sent to the e-mail address notified by the academic staff defined in the system.
3.İntihal.Net
The Academic Plagiarism (www.intihal.net) program, which was produced in Turkey in order to detect similarity in academic studies, has been opened to the access of our university users within the scope of TÜBİTAK EKUAL (Electronic Resources National License). Our researchers who want to use the program can register at https://intihal.net.
